Aulani Resort & Spa Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Adventure

Hawaiian Ocean Adventures in partnership with the Aulani Resort and Spa for over 10 years has had the unique opportunity to share this part of our culture with thousands of guests on our Hawaiian sailing canoe. A perfect activity for families and guests of all ages looking to participate in an authentic Hawaiian cultural experience without ever having to leave the resort.

Our sailing canoe is located on the beach in Lagoon 1, directly in front of the Aulani Resort and Spa in Ko Olina, Oahu.

This Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Adventure is an hour long and covers a course of approximately 2.5 miles sailing along the beautiful coastline of leeward Oahu. Guests will meet the captain and crew on the beach at the canoe and outfitted with personal flotation devices (PFD’s). These PFD’s are required to be worn for the duration of the ocean adventure. The captain will get our guests situated on the canoe where they can relax on the trampolines. We will get underway and head out of the lagoon.

Once we have departed the lagoon our guests can soak in the natural beauty of the area. Our crew can snap a few pictures of your group while you keep a keen eye out for green sea turtles, Hawaiian spinner dolphins, Humpback whales (from November-May) and other sea life in the area.

As we sail along the coastline, our Captain and crew will share with you the stories of the area and our culture that date back hundreds of years.

Once we have completed our ocean adventure we will sail back into the lagoon and return you to the sands of Aulani. This is a perfect time to get a picture of your family beside the canoe to capture the memory of a lifetime.

**Reservations for the Aulani canoe can ONLY be made in person at the Aulani Makiki Joe’s Beach Rental Desk. This desk is located alongside the main beach walk directly in front of the Aulani Resort.**

This Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Adventure is available to all guests and the general public.
