Hawaiian Ocean Adventures Tours

The Tour:
Come experience the beauty of Hawaii as we explore the eastern side of Oahu. Whether its sailing on a Hawaiian sailing canoe, catching waves in a surfing canoe, learning to surf or heading out for a stand up paddle, Hawaiian Ocean Adventures is here to provide you the memories of a lifetime.

All of our adventures are operated on the beautiful eastern side of Oahu near Kualoa Ranch. A short 30 minute ride from Waikiki and you will arrive at a place where the mountains meet the sea, a sacred canoe voyaging site that remains as beautiful today as when our ancient Hawaiian ancestors sailed their voyaging canoes into this bay over a thousand years ago.

Hawaiian Ocean Adventures was created to provide our clients with a unique Hawaiian experience on the ocean while sharing our cultural history and traditions as practiced in a modern Hawaii. We believe it is essential to share our culture so that it may be perpetuated for future generations.

Our adventures begin in beautiful Kualoa, where you will learn about the traditional protocols of constructing a Hawaiian sailing canoe and Hawaiian surfboards, we will also explore ancients forms of traditional navigation used by Polynesians for thousands of years. We will then launch into the protected waters of Kualoa and sail or paddle around the small island of Mokolii (Chinaman’s Hat) where we can view turtles, rays, and a variety of sea life. You can join us in paddling or just relax and take it all in as we sail past the birth place of Hawaii’s first modern day voyaging canoe, Hokulea.

All our captains and instructors are licensed and insured and very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the culture. We are committed to providing you a fun and cultural experience that you will remember for a lifetime.
